APSHO members are eligible to join committees as a way to get involved with the society and network.

The Awards and Recognition Committee develops and supports advanced practice awards and recognition initiatives for the society, including the Mary Pazdur Award for Excellence in Advanced Practice in Oncology.

The Communications Committee focuses on supporting APSHO via communication and information dissemination within APSHO, and promoting APSHO to advanced practitioners both within and outside of the society.

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee focuses on guiding APSHO in making an intentional effort to ensure diversity and inclusion is present in the work of APSHO and throughout the organization.

The APSHO Education Committee will focus on building a program of scholarly educational initiatives aimed at supporting advanced practitioners in oncology at all levels of practice and in varied practice settings. All programs will be developed by and for APSHO members but will integrate collaboration with key oncology provider organizations to promote the highest standard of care.

The Membership Committee has clear goals and responsibilities for the new society: member recruitment and further defining membership and its benefits.
