Lisa Kottschade, APRN, MSN, CNP, FAPO, Mayo ClinicPresidentLisa Kottschade, APRN, MSN, CNP, FAPO, is a Nurse Practitioner and an Associate Professor of Oncology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Ms. Kottschade earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Winona State University in 1996 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University in 2005. Ms. Kottschade has worked in oncology for over 20 years with 14 of those in the treatment of malignant melanoma and other skin cancers. She has a special interest in predicting, monitoring, and management of treatment-related side effects in patients undergoing systemic therapy for the treatment of melanoma. She currently leads the Immunotherapy Toxicity Working Group at Mayo Clinic, which is a multidisciplinary group of specialists dedicated to the treatment of immune-related adverse events. Ms. Kottschade is also the Chief Operations Officer of the Midwest Melanoma Partnership, an 18-institution research consortium dedicated to melanoma research and patient education. |
