Heather Koniarczyk, MSN,APRN-CNP, AOCNP®, FAPO

Director of Education, APSHO

Heather Koniarczyk is a nurse practitioner and experienced Advanced Practitioner (AP) leader with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She is a provider of outstanding healthcare clinical services with an MSN focused in Adult Oncology from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio in 2011 and a BSN Focus in nursing from Kent State University in 2006.

Before earning her position as the Director of Education at APSHO, Heather served as the Cleveland Clinic as Director of APRNs/PAs at the Taussig Cancer Institute. There, she developed multiple impactful projects and programs including survivorship care enhancements, emergency and urgent care services, readmission reduction projects, urgent care clinic development and management, founding director of the APRN/PA fellowship program in Oncology and Palliative care, and developed professional practice optimization and leadership training efforts for APRNs and PAs within the organization/Institute. Heather continues to publish and present on AP Leadership and Oncology.

She currently is serving as the Director of Education for APSHO where she oversees and develops oncology AP Education strategy, projects and collaborations with key leaders in oncology and industry partners. Her skills include healthcare leadership, management, clinical research, quality, patient safety.
