Amber Koehler, PA-C, Mayo Clinic

Amber Koehler is a PA who specializes in the care of chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, a Senior Fellow in the Mayo Clinic Academy of Educational Excellence, and a member of the Mayo Clinic Rochester NP PA Executive Team. She currently chairs the Mayo Clinic Office of NPPA – RST Recognition and Communication Committee and serves as Chair of the APSHO Education Committee. Amber is also a member of the didactic faculty at the Mayo Clinic PA Program and holds the additional academic rank of Instructor in Medical Education.

Known for her warmth, authenticity, and collaborative spirit, Amber is passionate about creating meaningful educational opportunities, fostering connection among advanced practitioners, and helping colleagues build sustainable, fulfilling careers. She believes the best medicine—for patients and for the profession—comes from pairing clinical excellence with genuine connection.

Outside of work, Amber loves spending time in the mountains and enjoying impromptu kitchen dance parties with her son, Nathaniel – and is always looking for her next great book recommendation!
