Leslie Swanson is a board-certified adult geriatric primary care nurse practitioner. she holds a concentration in oncology and has 9 years of experience delivering compassionate, high-quality care to cancer patients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seattle University in Washington and her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She currently serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Washington Leslie specializes in gastrointestinal malignancies. In her practice, she works closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure personalized treatment plans and provide support to patients and their families throughout their cancer journey. Leslie is passionate about patient advocacy and education, striving to empower individuals to make informed decisions about their care. She is also committed to staying current with advancements in oncology through continuous education and professional development. Outside of work, Leslie's passion for cancer awareness and desire to see a cure in her lifetime is demonstrated through volunteer work on committees that raise money for cancer research. She and her family can often be found at local cancer walks, where they lead a team of her colleagues and friends.
