Bio: Kate Martin

Kate Martin, PA-C, Dana-Farber Brigham and Women's Cancer Center, Boston, MA

 

Kate Martin serves as the senior manager of APPs for the Department of Radiation Oncology at Dana-Farber Brigham and Women's Cancer Center in Boston, Massachusetts., Her career in health care began in 2007 as a radiation therapist at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, New York. Kate earned her Honors BSc in Neurobiology from Brock University in Canada and obtained her Physician Assistant degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. She also has experience in inpatient medical oncology and neurosurgery. Kate joined the Department of Radiation Oncology in 2017 and is currently an MBA candidate at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.

In her clinical role, her primary focus is the central nervous system. Her administrative responsibilities include oncology APP strategy, utilization of APPs in radiation oncology, leadership development, and systems integration.
