Jennifer Bernt is an oncology nurse practitioner at Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers. She brings 25 years of specialized expertise in oncology nursing, having worked across diverse oncology settings.
Dr. Bernt
earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Missouri State University. Her scholarly work there focused on a quality improvement initiative to mitigate cancer-related fatigue through promoting physical activity. In addition
to her clinical work, Jennifer is a committed mentor to newly hired advanced practice providers and is engaged in professional organizations such as the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS), Advanced Practice Society for Hematology and
Oncology, and Hematology and Oncology Advanced Practitioners. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for her local chapter of ONS.
Outside of her professional life, Jennifer enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, reading,
cooking, and engaging in various artistic endeavors. She lives in Chandler, Arizona, with her husband and their two dogs.
