Research and Quality Improvement

The Research and Quality Improvement (RQI) Committee focuses on the involvement of the AP in research and quality improvement through mentorship and providing opportunities to present and publish professional projects.

The APSHO Clinical Trials Toolkit provides an in-depth guide to clinical trials, underscoring their essential role in enhancing hematology and oncology knowledge within advanced practice and patient care. It covers various aspects of cancer clinical trials, including site feasibility assessments, minority recruitment, and strategies to increase diversity and participation.

The APSHO Quality Improvement Toolkit for Advanced Practitioners (APs) guides healthcare teams through improving processes by forming a project team, choosing a QI method, defining problems with data, mapping workflows, ensuring compliance, and presenting results. It focuses on stakeholder engagement, clear roles, measurable goals, and continuous improvement.
