The Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO) expresses serious concern regarding the U.S. Department of Education to revise a proposed rule that would exclude NP, PA, Pharmacists, and CNS programs from “professional degree” status. APSHO warns this change could limit financial access to graduate education, worsen oncology workforce shortages, and threaten patient care and outcomes.
